There are other glass breakers and strap cutters on the market, but Z-Rex is the first one to pull together all the one-off features into one lightweight, intuitive and comfortable-to-use tool. Replaceable and indexible V-notch cutters can simply be flipped around for a fresh edge on-the-spot, or replaced completely when you're back home. Two wrenches—oxygen and Hex—are built right into the body of the tool; and, while other companies use stainless steel that takes much more force (if it even works at all) we use one-strike, Tungsten Carbide for our glass breaker tool. After all, if you're down to breaking glass, this is not the time to be beating your fist against the window. The Z-Rex MOLLE sheath is included.

Tools

1. 440C Indexable/Replaceable Cutters: A reversible and replaceable v-notch cutter made from 440C stainless steel, ideal for cutting through straps, seatbelts, canvas, and other tough materials.
2. Oxygen Tank Wrench: A rectangular cutout used to slot over an oxygen tanks to open. ideal for EMS, fire department or first responder use.
3. Carbide Glass Breaker: A small, pointed tip made of carbide, a very hard material, which is ideal for shattering auto glass.
4. 1/4” Hex Bit Driver: This slot allows for use of conventional 1/4" hex bits to expand the functionality of the tool.

MATERIALS

440C STAINLESS STEEL
A corrosion resistant premium stainless steel with high strength properties that is ideal for keeping an edge, but not as finicky to sharpen as some of the other premium steels.

CARBIDE
One of the hardest materials in the world outside of diamond, tungsten carbide is used as a tool to effectively and safely break auto glass and is available on Leatherman first responder tools.

POWDER COAT FINISH
Powder coat finish is a type of protective coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder that is tougher than conventional paint.
